Integration Application Developer
JOB PURPOSE: We are currently seeking an Application Developer who will play a key role in establishing and leading integration efforts with 3rd party products such as Microsoft Office and document management system across all applications and initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional intelligence, outstanding communications skills and a high level of attention to detail. This role will require a very “hands on” approach to leading and contributing to the office integration development effort.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain software framework and services using VB .NET, C# and C++.
Implementation and testing of integration with various 3rd party products.
Research and development of emerging technologies.
Essential Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from 4-year accredited institution.
Hands-on experience in data and functional design.
5+ years development experience in C++ using MFC, ATL, STL and Platform SDK.
3+ years development experience in ASP.NET (in both VB.NET and C#) and classic ASP along with related technologies (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX).
Ability to analyze business requirements and functional specification documents.
Demonstrated experience with SQL Server and T-SQL (data modeling and stored procedures).
Deep knowledge of Microsoft COM and COM+ technology.
Deep knowledge of Internet protocols such as HTTP, SMTP and FTP.
A good understanding of OOP (object oriented programming).
Experience managing XML data, including XSD (Schema design, XPath & XSLT.)
Ability to write and integrate web services in C# and C++.
Ability to write ISAPI extensions and filters.
Knowledge of COM Add-Ins for Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook a big plus.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
Self-starter, ability to work independently and as a strong team member.
Understand SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process.
Capable of understanding and replicating a business process.
Demonstrate professional etiquette and respect confidentiality of sensitive client data.
Desire to work in a dynamic and high-energy environment.
Insurance experience a plus.
Accounting experience a plus.
