Responsibilities: |
|
 |
Designs or writes functional specifications for
Nexsure reports based on consultations with
supervisor, systems analysts and other programmers. |
|
|
Converts functional specifications and design
documents into functioning reports within the
Nexsure reports framework. |
|
|
Compiles code into programs and corrects errors
detected in compile process. |
|
|
Creates
test transactions and runs tests to find errors and
confirm program meets specifications. |
|
|
Writes
and maintains documentation of changes to computer
code, programs and specifications. |
|
|
Ability
to master job knowledge skills. We use the latest
Microsoft tools .NET, (ASP, VB & C#), Visual Basic
components, MSMQ, SQL Server, SourceSafe and other
tools such as JavaScript. |
|
|
Essential
Job Qualifications: |
|
|
|
4 year college or university certificate; or
equivalent combination of education and work
experience. |
|
|
4-6
years advanced experience in Crystal reports 9 or
above, with design, dynamic grouping and sorting. |
|
|
SQL
Server 2000 or above, Design, Stored Procedures,
Views & Functions. |
|
|
Crystal
Report Applications using: VB.Net/C#, ASP.NET,
Active Sesrver Pages, HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript. |
|
|
Effective verbal and written communication skills
and the ability to interact professionally with a
diverse group of users and support staff. |
|
|
Able to translate concepts and information into
functional reports; demonstrates attention to
detail. |
|
|
Proficient in design crystal reports using SQL Server
and Web Applications. |
|
|
Dependable to keep commitments and meet deadlines. The
ability to work independently and together as a team
is essential. |
|
|
Desired

|
Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services |
|
|
COM/DCOM
Experience |
|
|
SourceSafe and Visio Tools |
|
|
Strong
understanding of MS SQL Server and web based
applications including .Net. |
|
|
Experience in the insurance industry and accounting
a plus. |
|
|
