News Release - From The Hartford
The Hartford Works With XDimensional To Speed Process
of Auto and Homeowners Insurance Placement
Direct system linkage brings straight-through policy
processing to agents who use Nexsure®
agency management system
HARTFORD, Conn. – Placing personal lines business with The
Hartford just got faster for insurance agents that use
Nexsure agency management system from XDimensional
Technologies Inc. These agents now can link directly to
The Hartford ExpressWaySM,
The Hartford Financial Services Group’s (NYSE: HIG) new
super-fast personal lines quoting tool.
“An insurance agent’s time is money. Saving a few minutes
in processing each policy can liberate an agent to better
serve current customers or seek new ones. Since a
significant segment of our agent customers already
directly connect to The Hartford every day for billing,
policy and claims inquiries, this direct link for quoting
can further help them expand agency revenues,” said
Michael Walther, chief executive officer of XDimensional
Technologies, Inc.
“The new direct link is an excellent application of
Nexsure’s real-time XML capabilities. Because Nexsure
links directly to The Hartford ExpressWay, rather than
bridging to a third party, it offers straight-through
processing with increased speed and reliability,” he
added.
This linkage was demonstrated earlier this year during a
standing-room-only session on “Seamless Collaboration” at
the ACORD-LOMA technology conference. It illustrated true
real-time straight-through processing throughout the
insurance value chain.
“The linkage of XDimensional’s Nexsure to The Hartford
ExpressWay is another excellent option for agents to use
technology to gain a competitive business edge,” said
Jonathan Bennett, senior vice president of Personal Lines
at The Hartford. “Agents now can complete a quote in three
minutes by entering information into their Nexsure system
and pushing a button. It’s fast, simple and smart.”
Nexsure is a native XML .NET application. By adhering to
industry technology standards, XDimensional had a leg up
in building the interface with The Hartford. This approach
also makes it easier to enhance Nexsure periodically in
response to agency feedback.
The Nexsure-to-Expressway link is now available and
requires no training or installation. For further
information on Nexsure, agents should contact Warren Long,
vice president of Marketing, at 714-672-8960 or
warren.long@xdti.com.
For information about The Hartford Expressway, Hartford
agents should contact their local personal lines
representative.
